Growth Habit:
Compact, rounded, low mounded evergreen shrub. Dense branching with uniform canopy structure. Slightly taller and tighter than ground-hugging types but still clearly low-growing. Moderate growth rate.
Foliage Description:
Deep burgundy to purple foliage throughout the growing season. Small oval leaves with matte finish. New growth slightly brighter plum before deepening. Dense foliage coverage with minimal interior visibility at maturity.
Flower Description:
Bright pink strap-like flowers composed of narrow ribbon petals. Flowers appear along outer stems in spring, moderate bloom density against dark foliage.
Bloom Time:
Early to mid-spring; occasional light rebloom.
Fall Color:
Evergreen; maintains burgundy tone year-round in warm climates. May deepen slightly in cool weather.

Full sun to partial shade; strongest foliage color in full sun.
