Growth Habit:
Upright to broadly vase-shaped evergreen shrub. Strong vertical branching with slightly arching outer stems. Taller than low mounding cultivars, with noticeable vertical energy and less compressed canopy. Moderate to vigorous growth rate.

Foliage Description:
Deep burgundy to purple foliage, slightly lighter on new growth before maturing darker. Leaves small to medium, oval, matte finish. Canopy moderately dense but not compacted into tight mound. Interior branching partially visible.

Flower Description:
Bright pink strap-like flowers composed of narrow ribbon petals. Flowers borne along stems in spring, moderate bloom coverage across canopy.

Bloom Time:
Early to mid-spring; occasional light rebloom.

Fall Color:
Evergreen; foliage retains burgundy tone year-round in warm climates. May deepen slightly in cooler weather.
