Growth Habit:
Dense, rounded to broadly mounded evergreen shrub with fine branching and uniform habit. Moderate growth rate. Maintains compact structure with light pruning.
Foliage Description:
Small oval leaves emerging bright chartreuse to golden yellow. Foliage color remains consistently yellow in full sun. New growth slightly lighter; interior foliage deeper yellow-green. Matte texture. Non-variegated.
Flower Description:
Insignificant; typically does not produce noticeable blooms in most landscapes.
Bloom Time:
Rarely flowers; if present, late spring.
Fall Color:
Evergreen in Zones 7–10; may experience partial leaf drop in colder Zone 6 winters.
Light Requirements:
Full sun for strongest yellow coloration; tolerates light shade but color may soften to yellow-green.
