Growth Habit:
Compact, low-growing evergreen shrub with dense upright canes and fine-textured foliage. Forms a tight, rounded clump with minimal vertical stretch compared to standard nandina. Slow to moderate growth rate.

Foliage Description:
Finely divided compound leaves with soft texture. New growth emerges pink to rose-red before maturing to medium green. Seasonal color shifts produce pink, coral, and green tones simultaneously. Foliage maintains good winter coloration in Zones 7–9. Matte to light satin finish.

Flower Description:
Insignificant; rarely flowers and does not typically produce ornamental berries.

Bloom Time:
Late spring (infrequent and minimal).

Fall Color:
Pink to red winter coloration, often intensifying in cooler weather. Evergreen to semi-evergreen depending on winter severity.

Light Requirements:
Full sun to partial shade. Strongest pink coloration develops in higher light conditions.
