Cilantro
Latin Name: Coriandrum Sativum
Cilantro, also known as coriander, is a flavorful herb with vibrant green leaves and a fresh, slightly citrusy taste. Popular in salads, salsas, and as a garnish, both its leaves and seeds are edible. Harvest when plants reach 6–8 inches tall by picking larger leaves individually or lightly trimming the plant. Water at the base to keep foliage healthy. Cilantro attracts beneficial insects, is non-toxic to pets, and makes a great addition to herb and vegetable gardens.
