Mature Height and Width:
2–3' tall × 2–3' wide

Growth Habit:
Compact, low-growing evergreen shrub with tight, rounded to slightly flattened mounded form. Dense branching with short internodes. Slower growing than many gardenia cultivars.

Foliage Description:
Small, narrow, glossy dark green leaves with smooth margins. Leaves are finer and more tightly spaced than larger gardenia types, creating a dense, refined texture. Evergreen in Zones 7–9 (protected Zone 6 possible with winter burn risk).

Flower Description:
Single white star-shaped flowers 2–3" wide with prominent golden stamens. Blooms are fragrant and appear singly across canopy rather than in heavy clusters. Flower form is flat to slightly cupped, not double.

Bloom Time:
Late spring to early summer; may lightly rebloom.

Fall Color:
Evergreen; no fall color.

Light Requirements:
Full sun to partial shade. Best performance with morning sun and some afternoon protection in hotter sites.

USDA Zones 7–10 (marginal but possible in protected Zone 6).
