Latin Name: Anethum Graveolens

Dill is a fragrant herb with delicate, feathery foliage that thrives in a sunny location protected from strong winds. For best growth, plant in well-draining sandy or loamy soil enriched with organic matter and keep the soil consistently moist. Dill makes an excellent companion plant for cabbage and broccoli, helping to attract beneficial insects and pollinators while naturally deterring pests. Avoid planting near carrots. Harvest leaves as needed for cooking or herbal uses, trimming no more than one-third of the plant at a time and cutting just above a leaf to encourage bushier growth.
