Growth Habit: Low, spreading evergreen with prostrate, trailing branch structure. Forms a dense, irregular mat with layered horizontal branching. Moderate growth rate.

Foliage Description: Sharp, needle-like juvenile foliage in medium green to blue-green tones. Texture coarser than scale-foliage junipers. Dense surface coverage with visible branch layering.

Flower Description: Inconspicuous; female plants may produce small blue berry-like cones.

Bloom Time: Spring (non-showy reproductive structures)

Fall Color: Evergreen; may develop slight purplish cast in colder winter conditions.
