Tomatillos Tomatoes
These Tomatillos produce small, golf-ball-sized fruits with a bright, tart citrus flavor that softens and sweetens when cooked—perfect for salsas, soups, and stews. Native to Central America, they’re rich in vitamins A, C, and dietary fiber. Fruits are ready to harvest when the husks split, and they store well in the fridge or freezer. Easy to grow in well-drained soil, they thrive with staking or a trellis, watering at the base, and at least two plants for pollination. They can be grown in the ground or in a large container and are considered disease-resistant.
