Alter-Ego peppers are dwarf, medium-heat plants that start light green and ripen to bright red. With 30,000–40,000 Scoville Heat Units, they offer a spicy-sweet kick, making them great for eating or adding color to small gardens and patio containers. These adaptable peppers grow well in various soils, though container plants may need more frequent watering. Pruning encourages bushier growth and larger fruits—trim bottom leaves and pinch extra flowers to focus energy on existing peppers.
